Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff revealed his home was once robbed the ‘same way’ Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow were recently targeted
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff revealed he was once the target of a home break-in that sounds eerily similar to the recent robberies involving Travis Kelce and Joe Burrow.
Goff’s rookie season came in 2016 after being drafted No. 1 overall by the Los Angeles Rams. He was traded to the Lions in 2021. Goff made his NFL debut in November 2016 after taking over for Case Keenum, who started at quarterback for the Rams first nine games of the season. The thieves, who were never caught, stole some electronics and shoes from Goff’s home. Goff, who married wife Christen Harper Goff in June, insisted having security on the premises while he’s traveling was “kind of a no-brainer.”
Kelce’s residence in Leawood, Kansas, was robbed on October 7 while he and the Kansas City Chiefs were playing the New Orleans Saints at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
