Japanese stocks climb for second day as Hong Kong stocks drop

Hong Kong stocks declined, with the Hang Seng Index HSI, -0.23% down 0.2% at 17,732.52, while Japan's Nikkei 225 Index NIK, +0.01% was flat at 32,042.25.

Shares of clothing firm Shenzhou Intl Group 2313, +4.51% and sports clothing/footwear company Anta Sports Products 2020, +3.63% increased 4.5% and 3.6%, respectively. Among Nikkei 225 Index constituents, rail passenger transport company Keisei Electric Railway 9009, +7.76% saw the largest increase Wednesday, as shares increased 7.8%.
