Japan govt offers Monbukagakusho: MEXT Scholarships to eligible Malaysians

Wednesday, 04 Mar 2020 05:05 PM MYTIPOH, March 4 — The Embassy of Japan today announced the opening of applications for the Japanese Government Scholarships for the academic year 2021 for Malaysian nationals who are interested in pursuing studies in Japan.

“Fees of the entrance examination, matriculation and tuition at universities will be exempted. A round-trip airplane ticket is also provided,” the Embassy of Japan said in a statement. “For undergraduate studies, applicants must be between 17 and 25 years old and must have completed SPM with at least 11 years of formal education .

Applicants also must have a good command of English or Japanese with excellent results in other majors.
