Pada perkongsian di Twitter baru-baru ini, Maia yang sedih dengan berita kematian berkenaan mengingatkan orang ramai untuk tidak memandang remeh terhadap bahaya Covid-19.
"Hari ini ibu saudara saya meninggal dunia kerana Covid-19 di Surabaya. Al Fatihah untuk tanteku tersayang. Masih adakah lagi yang degil atau memandang rendah dengan Covid 19 ini? Kita sepatutnya lebih berhati-hati. "Hati-hati di hadapan keluarga kita, anda, satu-satunya dipanggil Allah kerana Covid-19. Jangan pandang remeh terhadapnya. Semoga kita tetap mematuhi arahan pemerintah. Berdisiplin dan jaga jarak satu meter. Pakai masker kalau keluar rumah serta cuci tangan guna sabun 20 saat," tulisnya.
Maia yang pernah mengangotai kumpulan duo Ratu dan dikenali dengan lagu Teman Tapi Mesra juga mengingatkan orang ramai supaya tidak berkunjung ke tempat awam yang sesak dan duduk sahaja di rumah.
