News1 reported the casting on February 7th, and Jang Yoon Joo ’s agency, XYZ Studio, confirmed they are reviewing the project. “ Nice Woman Boo Se Mi! ” follows the story of Boo Se Mi, an underprivileged bodyguard who enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman in hopes of changing her fortune.
To evade those seeking the chairman’s wealth, she assumes a new identity for three months, leading to unexpected twists and turns. Jang Yoon Joo has been offered the role of Ga Sun Young, the chaebol chairman’s legitimate daughter. Known for her elegance and grace, Ga Sun Young hides a secret and is not as kind as she appears. If confirmed, this role will mark a significant change for Jang Yoon Joo’s acting career. The drama also stars Jung Jinyoung as Jeon Dong Min, a single father who becomes entangled with Boo Se Mi as she navigates her new identity. The drama is set to premiere later this year.
