Now, she's got another title that she's ready to add to her resumé: superhero.
The star said that she's even floated the idea of playing the character with Ryan Coogler, the director of Marvel's 2018 hit movie“I definitely have thrown it out there,” Monáe said about her desire to appear in the upcoming sequel toBlack PantherMonáe went on to voice her respect for the other actresses who have portrayed the thunder-wielding character, including Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp, and said that she would be honored to join their ranks.
