Glasser confirmed she helped create Monáe’s ornate visage for the premiere on Monday, using DYAD Pro’s FL-FH2 prosthetic made of foam latex. “She just wanted to match the monster vibe,” Glasser told WWD.Out Oct. 17, the latest film adaptation of Mary Shelly’s 1818 novel will see Jacob Elordi assume the role of the manufactured monster created by the self-seeking Dr. Frankenstein, played by Oscar Issac. Other actors in the movie include Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz and Charles Dance. The highly anticipated film, which will debut on Netflix on Nov. 7, seemingly broke the internet when it received a 14-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival a few weeks back.Elsewhere at the Monday night premiere, “Euphoria” star Storm Reid donned fashion label Finesse’s Maltide plum patent leather jacket and matching midi skirt. Moody hues seemed to be the unspoken shades of the night, boasted by the likes of Elordi and Goth, in maroon suiting and inky black sheer respectively.
