His high-profile deals put him at the forefront of some of Germany's most successful and critically acclaimed TV and films. Jan Mojto was recognized as part of 2018's Variety500 presented by VZMediaPlatform

Mojto’s Beta Film GmbH, a distributor of TV license rights, is in the wave of European production houses buying into companies or setting up joint ventures and subsidiaries across borders to snag talent and offset risk.

Together with ZDFE, it founded Intaglio Films, headed by “Game of Thrones” exec producer Frank Doelger, whose first major project is the adaptation of Frank Schaetzing’s bestseller “The Swarm.” Beta’s co-productions include Tom Tykwer’s crime drama “Babylon Berlin” and Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s feature “Never Look Away,” Germany’s entry for the 2019 Oscars. Donnersmarck and Mojto are teaming for a TV adaptation of the fantasy graphic novel “Thorgal.” Along with RedBull Media, Beta will produce “The Net,” a big-budget series set in the world of soccer.
