Jamie Lee Curtis Will Lobby For Live-Action One Piece Season 2 Role (On One Condition)

Jamie Lee Curtis is getting in on the fan frenzy.

Well before One Piece premiered on Netflix on August 31, fans of the franchise have been campaigning for Curtis to portray Kureha. In the anime and manga, Kureha is an elderly doctor who is young at heart and viewed as a witch by some.

However, there is one condition for her lobbying for the role of Kureha. She will not join in on the lobbying until the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers strikes a fair deal with the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and Writers Guild of America , the labor unions currently on strike in Hollywood.
