Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg are vampire hunters in the new trailer for Netflix's DayShift movie.
Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg are blue-collar vampire hunters in the first official Day Shift trailer, a new action-comedy coming to Netflix this summer. The upcoming movie stars the Academy Award-winning actor as Bud Jablonski, a working-class father using his job as a pool cleaner in the San Fernando Valley as a front for his primary occupation – tracking down and killing vampires as part of an international union of hunters, his means for providing a better life for his daughter.
Other than Foxx and Snoop Dogg leading the cast, Day Shift also stars Dave Franco as a buttoned-up union rep, How to Get Away with Murder's Karla Souza as the main vampiric antagonist, and Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Scott Adkins, Meagan Good, Tetiana Gaidar, and Steve Howey in supporting roles. Making his directorial debut is J.J.
The Day Shift trailer even goes to great lengths to inform viewers the action-comedy is"From the guys who taught John Wick how to kick ass," including Perry and John Wick director Chad Stahelski, the latter producing the film. In addition to high-octane action, Day Shift is sure to feature plenty of gags too, with this clip spotlights Franco's character's literal retching and some surprising debate over what the best movie in the Twilight saga is.
