Jamie Foxx is sharing new details about the medical complication he suffered in April 2023 that landed him in the hospital.

"So they told me -- I'm in Atlanta -- so they told me, my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor," he says, referencing his daughter,"The next doctor said something's going on up there," Jamie adds as he points to his head."We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday," Corinne said at the time."Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.
Not long after, Jamie opened up about his health scare to his fans on Instagram, posting a three-minute video in which he spoke directly into the camera."I know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear updates but to be honest with you, I just didn't want you to see me like that man," Jamie explained."I want you to see me laughing, having a good time partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie, television show.
"I'm just going to show you something instead," the 30-year-old said as a photo of her as a little girl with Jamie popped up on the big screen.
