In addition to Mann's victory at Kentucky in 2010, Ana Beatriz scored two victories on ovals between 2008 and 2009. This makes Chadwick the third woman to win a race in the series. made her the first woman to sweep an Indy NXT weekend on a road or street course. Drivers such as Katherine Legge and Simona de Silvestro won road and street races in ChampCar Atlantics, but Chadwick is the first to do so on that type of track in what is now called Indy NXT.
Chadwick's victory did not come easy. While starting from the pole gave her an advantage, she still needed to manage three restarts and a red flag combined with heavy pressure from her Andretti Global teammate Louis Foster and his championship rival Jacob Abel. During the race's closing laps, Chadwick was aided by the battle for second between Foster and Abel. The two championship leaders gave spectators a spectacular show, but it also allowed Chadwick to pull away.
