The skipper has been subject to criticism from fans in the wake of defeat to Ross County and the draw with Dundee.
A raging Rangers has branded James Tavernier a "serial loser" as he dug out the infamous programme note from the captain over four years ago.
At the time he wrote for the programme: "Whenever anybody puts a bit of pressure on us in Scotland or gets in our face it seems to affect us too much. At the start of the season teams dropped off us and we were scoring four or five goals, but now they smell blood straight away and put us under pressure. We are not good enough domestically to react to that."
"He said it himself in a match day programme recently that they get scared and they don't have the mentality to finish a season properly. They are happy at the start of a season to hit teams for three and four and when they get to this time of the season they bottle it. It's disgusting.
