James McClean's son has taken his first steps towards following in his father's footballing footsteps by signing with Crewe Alexandra.

Crewe currently play in League Two of the English football league system and finished 13th last season. James McClean has played for Sunderland, Wigan, West Brom, Stoke and the Republic of Ireland at international level.
