Despite trailing 42-39 at halftime, Cincinnati unleashed a ferocious 22-2 run to start the second half, establishing a commanding 61-44 lead. Simas Lukosius contributed all five of his points during this pivotal surge, while Josh Reed punctuated the run with a thunderous fast-break dunk.
Day Thomas added 15 points and Reed chipped in with 12 for Cincinnati (14-9, 4-8 Big 12), who shot an impressive 56% (19 of 34) from the field.
