On Monday night's special Homefest special, JKCorden welcomed an array of stars including Billie Eilish, BTS, Dua Lipa, John Legend, Will Ferrell, Ben Platt and David Blaine
Hoping to "bring some joy and some music" into everyone's homes amid quarantine because of the novel coronavirus, the late-night host was joined by an array of stars including BTS, Will Ferrell and David Blaine.
"We just wanted to bring some joy and some music into your home at what is without a question one of the strangest and scariest moments in all our lives," Corden said in the opening moments of his show. Though joking that the special marked the "first time in two and a half weeks" that he wasn't wearing sweatpants and filmed from his garage for the first time, Corden said that the special aims to bring "people together to keep them apart.
The first guest to appear on the special was John Legend, who joined via a livestream from his Los Angeles home. Joined with wife Chrissy Tiegen, the couple discussed how quarantine life has been difficult while raising their children. "The hardest part is just trying to figure out how to entertain the kids. You gain a new respect for what preschool teachers do for five, six hours a day," Legend explained.
