He's fine (thank God), but Uber's looking into it.
James Charles was insulted by an Uber driver that threatened to harm him and his friend during a ride.As much as people out there may dislike James Charles as a person, he still deserves respect, does he not? For example: Imagine minding your business and trying to have a fun and exciting day, when your Uber drivers hurls uncalled for insults and violent threats at you and your friend...after paying for the ride.
James detailed the exchange with his Uber driver on Twitter, and contacted the company's customer service channel to get down to the issue. “@Uber@Uber_Support hi! one of your drivers in Orlando just called my employee & I dumbasses, bitches & threatened to hit us. Please contact me as soon as possible.”
We take this very seriously. Please send us a DM with your email address and phone number so we can connect ASAP.Thankfully, Uber was very quick to respond to James' allegations. “We take this very seriously. Please send us a DM with your email address and phone number so we can connect ASAP.” That's everything we know so far about the incident, but James will be at the festival from February 28 to March 1.
