James Beard Foundation Postpones Finalist Announcement Due to Coronavirus

The James Beard Foundation has postponed the finalist announcement for the 2020 James Beard Awards, originally scheduled for March 25

. The news comes days after the Foundation

the James Beard Awards events in Chicago and New York City amid concerns around the spread of COVID-19. The finalist announcement will be rescheduled for an as-yet-undetermined later date, while the awards events will go on sometime this summer.in the chef and restaurant categories and debuts the list of finalists for the media awards categories.
