Jalen Hurts barely had time to sit down for his Super Bowl 57 Opening Night news conference at the Footprint Center when the Eagles quarterback was bombarded with the first of dozens of questions about his sprained right shoulder.
“I’m good,” Hurts said Monday night. “We’re at the Super Bowl. It don’t too much matter at this point. We came here to do something, and we want to finish it off. Whatever it takes.” “We both realize that for somebody, it’s not going to go well,” Jason Kelce said Monday night. “I know it sounds crazy, but I know we’re both rooting for each other. You can’t help but do that. I might not be rooting for the Chiefs, but I’m always rooting for Trav.
“You want to be balanced as much as you possibly can,” he said. “We’ve got great playmakers at wide receiver, we’ve got great playmakers at quarterback and tight end and running back. And no doubt, we have a great offensive line to be able to run the football, so we’ll try to be balanced. We’ve got to be able to run to win the game.”
