Effort and elbows: Jalen Brunson’s return from Royce O’Neale hit serves as Mavs ‘mojo’ in Game 3 win

Brunson was 6-of-9 and had scored 15 points at that juncture. Fortunately for the Mavericks, Brunson returned for the second half and completed a 31-point performance as the Mavericks held off repeated Utah rallies. “I think most importantly, I saw how hard my teammates are playing as I was laying back there,” he said. “They were just playing really hard. They were just staying in the run and doing what they were doing, kind of gave me the mojo to come out there. . . I’m just proud of this team with all the fight that we have.”
