Boxing’s “problem child” is headed to American Airlines Center in Dallas.
In a clash between two of combat sports’ most polarizing personalities, Jake Paul will face off with MMA legend Nate Diaz in a boxing match on August 5, Most Valuable Promotions and Real Fight Inc. announced on Wednesday. The fight between the YouTube star-turned-boxer and UFC icon will be scheduled for eight rounds and fought at 185 pounds with 10-ounce gloves. The pay-per-view event will be produced by DAZN.
“We are thrilled to host the highly anticipated Paul vs. Diaz fight,” said Dave Brown, chief operating officer and general manager of American Airlines Center. “Dallas provides the perfect location to reach a massive audience and showcase the most exciting boxing match scheduled for this summer.”
