In a new interview with 'The Hollywood Reporter,' Jake Gyllenhaal explained that he is shifting his focus from acting to starting a family and that he may be ready to marry his longtime girlfriend, Jeanne Cadieu.

But, he went on to say, “I think we all get into that space of work, work, work, and for a long time my career took precedence, but I’m at a point in my life where I realize that family really is the only thing that matters to me.”While Gyllenhaal and Cadieu have kept their relationship out of the spotlight for the most part, they had their red carpet debut at a very meaningful event: the premiere ofback in September 2021. The film was directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jake's older sister.
"We are private, but I guess we are who we are," he said. "We're just living our lives. We always have. And I love that people are interested, but at the same time, it's like what's ours is ours.
