Jake Gyllenhaal stars in Prada's new fragrance campaign:
, the global sailing competition that has been around since 1851, making it one of the oldest sailing races. Italy’s Luna Rossa sailing team was co-launched in 1997 by Patrizio Bertelli, the CEO of Prada Group, so of course it needed a fragrance to mark the occasion. The first Luna Rossa scent, Prada Luna Rossa Eau de Toilette, launched in 2012, and was followed by Carbon Eau de Toilette, Sport Eau de Toilette and Eau de Parfum.
I also loved the approach Prada had to the fragrance and the campaign—about adventure, connection to nature, and the power of technology to do extraordinary things. And of course, I loved the fact that Johan Renck was directing the film! The scent is refreshing and strong. The smell of fresh bergamot feels very sophisticated, and I love that the scent evokes a sense of adventure.
