The Jacksonville Jaguars' owner, Shad Khan, set the record straight about his surprising win-now mandate.
After dropping five of their last six games to close out the 2023 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars enter the new year looking for some redemption. The Jaguars ended last season with a record of 9-8, missing the playoffs entirely. It was an extremely disappointing way for them to end the year and it resonated throughout the organization. Owner Shad Khan didn't hold back on his thoughts regarding last season, calling it an 'organizational failure'.
'Jacksonville has the tools to be successful this season, starting with star quarterback Trevor Lawrence. He received a massive contract extension this offseason from the Jaguars and will now need to live up to it.Lawrence is the key to everything this season, but working together with head coach Doug Pederson is important as well. The two have a good connection but it will be tested with the high expectations coming from the top of the organization.
