The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp hit the diamond Saturday night to honor the life and career of baseball’s most iconic-trailblazing figures, Jackie Robinson.

On April 23, 2022, the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp honored the late Jackie Robinson by wearing the Red Caps' uniforms.–

The team paid tribute by rocking the Jax Red Caps uniforms, which were worn in the Negro American League from 1938 until 1942.
