"We don’t have a specific number of slots as some of it depends on the complexity of each participant’s circumstances," Corrigan said."The clerk’s office researches each participating individual’s status and coordinates with all appropriate state agencies and/or the court to be able to resolve the issues affecting their driver’s license during the two weeks of the expo."
Participating agencies include: the 4th Judicial Circuit, the offices of the state attorney, public defender, Duval County tax collector and Florida's departments of Revenue as well as Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.Jacksonville Sheriff's Office offers new ways to communicate with hard of hearing Drivers must pre-register but do not need to indicate initially why their license is not valid since the clerk’s office will research each situation, then set up an appointment at the courthouse.
FYI — Drivers with licenses revoked, suspended or cancelled due to out-of-county or out-of-state matters cannot be helped by this program, the clerk's office said.
