Sauer Construction LLC has seen the value of a recently awarded Navy construction contract jump by almost 65%, with $25 million being added to a previously awarded task order.

The Jacksonville-based construction company was recently awarded the modification to a contract to provide demolition, construction, and repair work associated with storm damage at Naval Air Station Pensacola.Sauer was one of seven companies awarded a piece of a $900 million design-bid-build contract in September 2021, with task orders being issued as work is needed.
