Jack Skellington was deemed the scariest entry in the Saratoga Scarecrow Competition along Big Basin Way in downtown Saratoga. Judges selected winners in four categories on Monday, Oct. 21.Downtown Saratoga’s Big Basin Way saw the arrival of over 100 new residents this fall, most of which are made of straw and cloth.
Winners of the contest, sponsored by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce, will receive a $60 gift card to a Saratoga restaurant of their choosing. The scarecrows will remain up in the village until Nov. 8.
