Former Great White frontman Jack Russell has died. The singer had recently retired from touring due to a Lewy Body Dementia and Multiple System Atrophy diagnosis. He was 63.
Jack Russell, the rocker who fronted Great White during the rock band's peak in the late '80 and early '90s and survived a tragic 2003 fire, has died. He was 63."With tremendous sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved Jack Patrick Russell — father, husband, cousin, uncle, and friend," it read in part.
While there were legal disagreements between the two factions of the band over the years, upon Russell's death, his original bandmates sent their"deepest condolences to the family of Jack Russell," in aInstagram account."We hope they take comfort in knowing Jack's incredible voice will live on forever. His love for the fans and his sons went unmatched, as was his own love for rock music.... Rest In Peace, to one of rock's biggest champions.
