Joffrey's actor is back!

Understandably, much of that story is focused on Maeve and Sean, since it's centered around the death of their mother, Erin which plays a major role in Maeve's overall arc and Sex Education ending. Mo is a bit of comic relief in what's a pretty heavy and poignant storyline, but casting Gleeson is something of a masterstroke . Instead, it's something that's been a very long time coming.
Gleeson did appear in two episodes of British sitcom Out Of Her Mind in 2020, but Sex Education season 4 is by some distance his biggest acting role since leaving Game of Thrones in 2014. Not only that, but it's also his best. Admittedly there's not too much competition, but it's a reminder of how good Gleeson is. While there is an initial shock in recognizing that this is Joffrey, after that he once again disappears into the role.

Mo may have Dodgy in his name, but he's clearly pretty well-meaning, and largely only interested in getting stoned.
What Jack Gleeson Is Doing After Sex Education Season 4 Sex Education season 4 is really just the beginning of Gleeson's acting comeback, as he has two more roles lined-up. One is appearing in a BBC adaptation of Enid Blyton's The Famous Five, which is being created by Nicolas Winding Refn. The series is in post-production, and Gleeson will portray Wentworth .
