Jack Black reveals that he is planning a 20th anniversary reunion with the cast of School of Rock. School of Rock first premiered in 2003, meaning October 3 will mark 20 years since its release. The film follows Dewey Finn , a guitarist who poses as a substitute music teacher in a desperate attempt to gain some cash. However, he ends up discovering his students' musical talent and signs them up for Battle of the Bands.
All those kids — dig this — they were 10 years old when we made that movie and now they’re all, like, 30. We’re gonna get together and have a 20-year anniversary. We like to jam. I’m looking forward to seeing all of the grownups from ‘School of Rock.'
