Jacen Syndulla Uses A Legends Power Called "Theran Force Listening" Jacen uses the Force in Ahsoka episode 5 to hear across a great distance, a power known as "Theran Force Listening" in Legends. It was developed by the Theran Listeners of the planet Nam Chorios and could even be used to understand other languages. The fact that Jacen could use this ability to listen into the World Between Worlds itself showcases his already tremendous power level.
Jacen Is Named After A Legends Jedi Who Possessed This Power Jacen was named after Han Solo and Leia Organa's son from Legends, Jedi Knight Jacen Solo, a character who also used Theran Force-listening. He learned the technique from the Theran Listeners during his five years traveling the galaxy to acquire knowledge from other Force-sensitive cultures.
While this is a fun connection between the two Jacens and shows how powerful Kanan's son can be, it could also set up a dark future. Jacen Solo eventually turned to the dark side and became the Sith Lord Darth Caedus, making him Legends' version of Kylo Ren. Even if hw doesn't turn to the dark side, there is a chance that Jacen will be killed by Kylo Ren when Luke Skywalker's Jedi Temple is destroyed.
