The Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant from all team activities on Sunday after another video of the star guard appearing to hold a gun began spreading on social media.
“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant,” the Grizzlies said in a statement. “He is suspended from all team activities pending League review. We have no further comment at this time.”
The NBA is investigating the Instagram Live video, which briefly showed Morant holding what appeared to be a gun before the camera quickly cut away. “We are aware of the social media post involving Ja Morant and are in the process of gathering more information,” NBA spokesperson Mike Bass told reporters.The latest video comes more than two months after Morant was filmed in an Instagram Live video
