The Cincinnati Bengals will have star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase active for their season-opening game against the New England Patriots. Chase was not listed on the injury report and will suit up for the Bengals.However, the Bengals won't have star wide receiver Tee Higgins as he was listed as out for the matchup. He has been dealing with a hamstring injury and was listed as doubtful entering the weekend.
His chemistry with Burrow stems back to their days together with the LSU Tigers, giving Cincinnati one of the best duos in the entire NFL.A deal not coming together shouldn't be too much of a surprise, however. Earlier in the summer, Bengals owner Mike Brown said that he didn't want to negotiate this late into the offseason.'It's not so likely that this is the good time to negotiate,' Brown said in July, via Ben Baby of ESPN.
