In the latest SpiderVerse anthology a new spider person has entered the fray, and it's none other than SpiderMan hater J. Jonah Jameson. 📰 The Daily Bugle's very own has become a hero with his new persona, Headline. 🕸
Warning: Preview for Edge of Spider-Verse #4 ahead! The Daily Bugle's very own J. Jonah Jameson has become a Spider-Verse hero with his new persona, Headline. The Spider-Verse is home to countless variants of the fan-favorite Marvel hero Spider-Man. However, it's not limited to just varying forms of Peter Parker.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In a preview for Edge of Spider-Verse #4, the anthology features three different Spider-People from across the multiverse including Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man's Dream-Spider and the former Spider-Girl, Araña. However, the second story by Daniel Kibblesmith and ChrisCross is where things get interesting as a new Spider-Hero enters the Web of Life. None other than J.
J. Jonah Jameson's Spider Persona Is Absolutely Perfect Close The overall design for J. Jonah Jameson's Headline fits completely in line with who he is as a character. He actually sounds embarrassed to be a Spider-Hero based on the way he describes himself as "the idiot in the clown suit." As a result, he tries so hard to separate himself from Spider-Man with wild changes to his costume including a cape that's made entirely out of Daily Bugle newspapers.
Headline is an Interesting Evolution for J. Jonah Jameson It's amazing to see just how far J. Jonah Jameson has come since he first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #1. He was constantly seen as the civilian antagonist to Spider-Man as he worked day and night to paint the hero as a menace to New York. However, over the years, he's come to grow a soft side within the Marvel universe, even supporting Silk during her fight with a Korean witch.
Fans can see Headline in action when Edge of Spider-Verse #4 hits comic stands on July 5. This isn't going to be an issue to miss as it serves as a sequel to the nightmare fuel Deadly Neighborhood Spider-Man series and a further glimpse into Araña's world. However, J. Jonah Jameson's new Spider-Verse persona Headline will undoubtedly be the highlight of the anthology as he turns into the very thing he sought to destroy for years and becomes the latest hero with spider powers.
