BTS member J-Hope is set to embark on his first solo world tour, 'Hope on the Stage Tour', performing in 15 cities across the globe. The tour will feature a historic North American leg, culminating in a stadium show at L.A.'s BMO Stadium, marking the first time a Korean solo artist will headline a U.S. stadium.
J-Hope , a member of the global sensation BTS , is set to embark on his first solo world tour , titled 'Hope on the Stage Tour.' This highly anticipated tour will see him perform in 15 cities across the globe, including six stops in North America . Hybe, the parent company of BTS ' label BigHit Music , announced the tour on Tuesday.
The journey will commence with a three-day run in Seoul, following which J-Hope, whose real name is Hoseok Jung, will journey to the United States for the North American leg. He will kick off his U.S. performances with two nights at New York's Barclays Center, starting March 13th. From there, he will travel to Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, and Oakland before concluding the North American run at L.A.'s BMO Stadium. This finale holds special significance as it marks the first time a Korean solo artist will headline a U.S. stadium, a historic achievement. Following his U.S. performances, J-Hope will venture to the Philippines, Singapore, and other countries across Asia, bringing his music and artistry to fans worldwide.All three nights of J-Hope's Seoul stop will be available live for fans to enjoy on Hybe's fan platform, Weverse. While it remains unclear if other tour stops will be live streamed, the anticipation for this global tour is palpable. This tour follows J-Hope's impressive performance at Lollapalooza, Chicago's flagship music festival, in 2022. His set made history as he became the first Korean artist to headline a major U.S. music festival. His fellow BTS member, Suga (whose real name is Yoongi Min), also embarked on his own world tour, 'Suga Agust D Tour' (Agust D being his solo alter ego), in 2023 before enlisting for his mandatory military service. In October 2022, J-Hope and the rest of BTS performed a massive free concert, 'Yet to Come,' in Busan, South Korea. This concert, held in support of Busan's bid for the 2030 World Expo, drew legions of ARMY, the name given to BTS' devoted fan base, from around the globe. J-Hope's enlistment and military service were announced with a heartfelt message from the group, stating that it was 'the perfect time,' and that the members were honored to serve their nation. Jin, the eldest member, was discharged in June 2024, with J-Hope joining him in October 2024. The world anticipates BTS's reunion as a full group this year, when all seven members have completed their military service. The general public will have access to tickets starting January 23rd, but those with official ARMY fan club memberships will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets on January 22nd. Ticketing details for the L.A. stop will be announced at a later date.
