J-Hope of BTS has officially announced his upcoming military enlistment.
According to a statement by his agency BigHit Music, the South Korean rapper and dancer will enlist in the South Korean army, but will hold no official event on the day of his entry.Regardless, the label asked fans to refrain from visiting the enlistment site, saying the ceremony is to be observed by military personnel and family only.
"Instead, we ask you to keep your heartwarming words of support and farewell in your hearts," they said. "We ask for your continued love and support for J-Hope until he completes his military service and returns," they added.
