The president's eldest daughter was scheduled to deliver remarks at the Global Entrepreneur Summit at The Hague, which is home to the International Criminal Court.
First daughter Ivanka Trump's tweet expressing enthusiasm over visiting The Hague in the Netherlands largely backfired, as many Twitter users wished she would stay at the home of the International Criminal Court and the United Nations' International Court of Justice.
The senior White House adviser was scheduled to deliver remarks at the Global Entrepreneur Summit at The Hague, which is the seat of the Dutch parliament. "En route to The Hague!" Trump tweeted early Wednesday, along with emojis of the United States and Holland flags and the hashtag #GES2019."The International Criminal Court?" a Twitter user replied."What docket number?"A Twitter user shared an image of Trump and her husband and fellow senior White House adviser Jared Kushner looking out of Buckingham Palace windows from their visit to the U.K. earlier in the week.
"Good. I hope the trial is swift and justice is served with you and the family behind bars. #CrookedJavanka," the Twitter user wrote.
