Ivanka Trump’s latest podcast comments downplay the reasonable complaints her former acquaintances may have had.
Like most people in 2016, Ivanka Trump says she lost some friends over the election of her father, President Donald Trump . However, her spin on the situation is that “acquaintances” who turned their backs were just…“overly emotional.” The past and future first daughter recently went on the Him & Her podcast, from the Skinny Confidential, which is a beauty company, and spoke about the not-quite-pals she lost after her father was elected the first time nine years ago.
“I have friends who, they don’t speak to half their family because the time was so emotional,” she said. Yeah, totally, those…emotions! “I never judge someone by their politics. So for me, it’s not a litmus test. So I would expect that back from you,” she continued, adding that she has friends of all ideological stripes.
