Korean director Park Chan-wook’s “Decision to Leave” emerged as the most nominated film with 10 followed by the Japanese film “Drive My Car” with eight and India’s “Ponniyin Selvan: I” with six. Filipino director Lav Diaz’s “When The Waves Are Gone ” is nominated for Best Film along with “Decision To Leave,” “Drive My Car,” “Poet” and “Ponniyin Selvan: Part I.” It stars John Lloyd Cruz, Ronnie Lazaro and Shamaine Buencamino.
IU, also known as Lee Ji-eun, is nominated for Best Newcomer for the film “Broker” along with Louise Wong for “Anita,” Yang En You for “Lighting Up the Stars,” Park Ji-min for “Return to Seoul” and Mak Pui Tung for “The Sparring Partner.
