ITV's Susanna Reid announces 'goodbye' from Good Morning Britain studio
ITV presenter Susanna Reid has announced her departure from Good Morning Britain as she said "bye" in a statement during Wednesday's instalment. The star is heading off on an extended break from fronting the breakfast show for the summer.
During Wednesday's show, Susanna said: "Good Morning Britain back tomorrow at 6am." She added, while waving: "I am saying goodbye now!" She then added: "It's time for Lorraine!" On Twitter on Tuesday, Susanna announced she would be co-hosting with Martin Lewis. "TOMORROW @gmb Wallet Wednesday with @MartinSLewis the voice of reason during this cost of living crisis. Send your questions to @GMB and we’ll get through as many as we can," she wrote.
"Going to watch today as Alan Partridge is off. Welcome back @MartinSLewis," quipped another as a third wrote: "Now that is a good team."
