Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford opened up about her husband's recent medical drama while visiting the Chelsea Flower Show and revealed he had been left blind in his right eye.
He admitted that the vision in his eye was not expected to return before saying: “It is from the heart to the eye, and then from the eye to the brain, so it is damaged. It is the first time I have had something like this with the eye. Stephen also suffered from a heart attack in 2004 and he had his first stroke when he was doing some gardening in 2012. He was then rushed to the hospital where he was treated.
She recalled being "so deeply affected" by what she had seen and that her husband wasn't able to move or speak properly, however his "fighting spirit" was there.
