ITV announce 'middle aged' LoveIsland as they look for 'single parents' and share villa
After months of rumours, TV bosses have shared a call-out through their website for "vibrant single parents" to audition for their show, called The Romance Retreat, which will be aired on the main channel.
The call out also appeared to give potential applicants a peak at the "villa" that will most likely be used. In the picture, a modest house with a glass balcony can be seen surrounded by a lush green garden. The news comes just weeks after Davina McCall begged ITV to let her host a "midlife" version of Love Island, which returned to screens on 16 January for its second ever winter series.
She continued: "I could fill a villa in Love Island with middle-aged people with the best back stories you have ever heard in your life.
