BREAKING: Italy suffers biggest daily coronavirus death toll with another 627 dead

Officials confirmed that record had now been surpassed with the death toll rising by 18.4% on Friday.from the deadly disease. The gruesome milestone is being blamed on a perfect storm of Italy’s elderly population, its overwhelmed healthcare system, and the delayed lockdown of the outbreak’s epicentre in Lombardy.
