Areas of Western Europe will be hit with a 'heat dome' that could cause flooding and even some tropical cyclone-like conditions.
Some areas of Europe have been issued with a severe weather warning this week thanks to a Mediterranean heatwave.
Forecasters have said severe winds and flooding risks could also spread towards Italy, Sicily and Malta thanks to a formation developing over the Ionian Sea. And next week, from Tuesday September 5 to Thursday September 5, extreme amounts of rain forecast for Greece means there's a high risk of flooding.
Weather models show that 500mm of rain could fall over the next few days, with some models even suggesting more than 1000mm.
