The 323i trim—a trim that wasn't sold in America—is a slightly detuned version of the 325i we're all familiar with. It's powered by the naturally aspirated M20 straight-six making 148 hp and 151 lb-ft from the factory. In the 323i, it sends power to the rear wheels via a dogleg five-speed manual transmission.
This particular car is well-specced, too, with factory Recaro cloth sport seats, a limited-slip differential, and a rear spoiler. And we can't help but love those steel wheels.
