‘It was wrong’: Grundy called out over ‘distasteful’ trade move as pay curveball emerges
Wilson has criticised Grundy for making the Swans his preferred trade destination, reportedly as a result of the club’s impressive presentation.
Wilson said over the weekend the Power may have “dodged a bullet” by missing out on Grundy. She said Grundy may not be the sort of player you want at your club if he puts his lifestyle above his football future in his list of priorities when considering a move. “Brodie Grundy made a bad call this year because he chose a town. It comes after new details have emerged suggesting the Magpies could throw a curveball into the mix by tearing up the deal it has in paying some of Grundy’s wages — if he moves to the Swans.
