“It’s time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks,' Alabama’s GOP governor says

“Almost 100 percent of the new hospitalizations are with unvaccinated folks. And the deaths are certainly occurring with the unvaccinated folks,” Ivey said. “These folks are choosing a horrible lifestyle of self-inflicted pain.” Still, it’s important to note that some people may not yet be able to receive the vaccine, including children under 12 years of age and some people with certain medical conditions. That should only further underscore how crucial it is that eligible people get vaccinated, to protect themselves and others.
