Despite the Alien franchise having three upcoming movies and TV shows, none of them really have the means to bring back Sigourney Weaver's iconic Ellen Ripley. Ellen Ripley is one of the best characters in the Alien movies, having survived her encounters with various Xenomorphs across three installments, with her clone appearing in the fourth film.
