Going to City Council meetings is a waste of time.
Four residents show their opposition to a plan to charge parking fees in Balboa Park at a San Diego City Council meeting on Nov. 18. I’m tired of reading about our elected leaders’ inability to manage the budget.
Their latest idea of charging for parking at the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park was the tipping point for me. The new trash fee was just an old con-man, bait-and-switch scam. I think every citizen who lives in San Diego should speak up and say we need a change in direction. Going to the City Council meetings and stating your opinion there is a waste of time. They don’t listen. It’s political, so make it a political fight. You can start at your local community council and recreation council meetings.
